Group Placing, BOSS GCH Belgenbeau Bryscar Cameo OB2, BH, AD, TT, CGC
2006-2018
Cameo came to stay and play with us is the US! She came bounding out of the crate in San Fran and never looked back! She had a very interesting pedigree behind her with AUST/DKBR/DK CH Bryan Vom Haus Mecki IPO3 SchH3 as her dad, and her mom Scarlett goes back to some impressive Terv lines as well as old Van Balderlo and Saberfield lines. We were very excited to have Cameo come and stay with us. A Big Huge Thanks to her Breeder Lynda Trotter @ Belgenbeau for letting Cameo come to the US!
Temperament: Cami was a very outgoing social bitch that seemed to have never met a stranger. She had a solid temperament, and absolutely adored kids from infant size on. She liked my cats, but would chase if my cats were not used to the Malinois antics. I would call her a ‘busy’ dog. She needed a lot of mental stimulation. Cam and I went to Westminster in 2010, and she qualified for Eukanuba in 2009 and 2010. Not bad for a working girl 🙂
Structure: Cami was 23″ and 46 pounds. Square construction, medium bone. Coat was fawn with a very harsh texture. Ears were medium sized and well placed. Mask was very black, with just a little bleed through under the eye. Cami was very light on her feet.
Working Ability: Cami had no environmental issues that I found. She was intensely, intensely toy motivated. She would fetch all day long, and loved to run around the house with something constantly in her mouth. In obedience, her style was very flashy, and she was aware of her body while heeling. Retrieves were fast and steady, with no mouthing for the dumbbell. In tracking, I worked on slowing her down, but she had a very deep nose in tracking. In protection, she loved the fight, and had self confidence with the helper and made eye contact. Very high prey drive. In agility, she had no problems with any of the obstacles.
Cami was retired from breeding here at Element after giving me three excellent litters and one litter at A Living Fire kennel. I kept back Sid, Drama, and Wicked to carry on her bloodline.
Dam of 10 Champions, 9 Grand Champions, 3 elite-level nose work dogs, a nationally ranked dock diving dog, nationally ranked frisbee dog, multiple group placers, multiple agility-titled offspring, multiple herding-titled offspring, multiple IPO & ringsport titled offspring, multiple certified cadaver and search and rescue dogs. Her legacy is truly left in her offspring.
Never one to miss her ice cream, a car ride or her favorite thing of all, hunting rats in the barn. She left this life just like she lived it, at 100 mph. I needed a couple more years, she might have settled down, HA. Miss you wild dog.
